For more than 30 years, the Holiday Giving Project of Montgomery County has helped residents in need celebrate Thanksgiving and the December holidays. A coalition of more than 20 non-profits, local governments, and faith groups volunteer to collect and distribute donations of holiday food, gift cards, or toys to Holiday Giving Project recipients by ZIP code. Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services is the coordinating agency for this county-wide effort.

Leadership Montgomery focuses our giving and collection efforts on the 20906 ZIP code, an area of high need in the County. We are proud to partner with Kennedy Cluster Project for these efforts. We will be happy to connect LM Members and Partners with opportunities to support the Holiday Giving Project in other ZIP codes as desired.
