2019 July LM Serves Day - Hunger

Join Leadership Montgomery the morning of Saturday, July 13 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon for our summer day of service! This summer we're highlighting organizations focused on feeding our neighbors in need in Montgomery County.  Sign up now to join one of our volunteer groups!

Rainbow Community Development Center (Silver Spring, MD)

Volunteers will assist in preparing grocery bags of fresh produce and non-perishable items, assisting clients with intake forms and getting groceries to their vehicles and distributing diapers to families with babies. Appropriate for volunteers 16 and up.

Nourish Now (Rockville, MD)

Volunteers will assist with unloading trucks of donated catered food, sorting through produce and repackaging prepared meals for family distribution program. Appropriate for volunteers ages 16 and up.

Chocolate and Tomatoes Farm (Germantown, MD)

Volunteers will help with harvesting vegetables for Manna Food Center; weeding and other general farm chores. Appropriate for volunteers ages 8 and up.
